RAW Video: Cosplay Fashion Show

Sunday, July 15, 2012

RAW: Natural Born Artists has posted another interview with yours truly, this one taken on the night of the Cosplay Fashion Show. It was absolutely delightful to be able to discuss my passion for costuming in a setting that views it as art, rather than recreation. There's footage from the runway walk as well as the interview, so it's definitely worth checking out!

PrinceLess: Short Stories

Friday, July 13, 2012

PrinceLess: Short Stories for Warrior Women is finally on sale!
You can find it on page 232 in the July issue of Previews.

I can't post the finished artwork online yet (you'll have to pick up a copy of the book for that), but I can give you a peek at my very very rough preliminary sketches.

I'm a HUGE fan of the original PrinceLess comic, so being able to contribute to their newest project was an absolute treat. If you've never read PrinceLess, do yourself a favor and track it down. I was hooked within a few pages.

PrinceLess was nominated for an Eisner Award, so I'm not the only one out there who thinks it's awesome. There was an 8-page preview in Feedback Magazine not to long ago. Click here (and skip to page 20) to see for yourself what all the fuss is about.

Daredevil Commission

Wednesday, July 11, 2012

Daredevil is my all-time favorite superhero!
I was delighted when I got this request.

It's rare for me to start a project over from scratch, but that's exactly what happened with Ol' Hornhead here. I'm really glad I did too, because the original design doesn't hold a candle to version #2.
